Wither left me speechless. Lauren Destefano throws you into a frightening world where females live up to the age of twenty, while males live up to twenty-five. Due to this virus, children have no time for childhood; they are forced into adulthood. Few are privilege enough to have both parent.
Wither is wonderfully written; I can't remember the last time I encountered so many words I never heard of. The scenes are so vivid, I kinda wish I took my time reading this book. The characters feel so real. I desperately wanted Rhine and her sister wives to find way out of their situation. My hearts bleeds for Rhine throughout this book. Despite her situation, she's keen on escaping her prison to be reunited with her brother.
I love everything about Wither, especially its jacket. Its so brilliantly designed, I couldn't stop staring at it! If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend it.
